Good to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

Traditional Indian attire or modest, comfortable clothing is welcome. Children are especially encouraged to dress as Krishna, Radha, gopas, or gopis for the dress-up activity.

Do children need to register separately for the Krishna & Radha Dress-Up / stage programs?

This is very likely to come up, especially if participation requires advance registration rather than simply showing up.

What age groups can participate in the children’s workshops and activities?

Parents will genuinely need this before registering. If different activities have different age ranges, the answer can point them to the registration form.

Will prasadam be available during the celebration?

You already mention community prasadam elsewhere, but what visitors may still want to know is when it is served and whether there is any charge. We should include this FAQ only once those details are known.

How early should I arrive for Dahi Handi or the Midnight Krishna Janam celebration?

This could be extremely useful if those programs draw large crowds. Something like “We recommend arriving at least 30–45 minutes early…” once the organizers confirm what they want.

What happens if there is rain during Dahi Handi or other outdoor activities?

If Dahi Handi is outdoors, this is a very practical question and one that the rest of the webpage probably won’t answer.

Is the temple accessible for seniors and guests with mobility needs?

This is the kind of question someone may genuinely look for before bringing an elderly parent or someone using a wheelchair. We should only add it after confirming the actual accessibility arrangements.

Can devotees bring offerings for Krishna?

If people commonly bring flowers, fruits, makhan, sweets, etc., this is worth explaining along with where/how offerings should be submitted. Again, only if the temple has a defined process.
