About the Utsav
Ganesh Chaturthi celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the deity of wisdom, prosperity, and new beginnings. For eleven sacred days, devotees welcome Ganesha's presence with pooja, aarti, and heartfelt offerings.
At Radha Krishna Temple of North Carolina, the Utsav unfolds with a grand procession and Sthapan, daily Ganpati poojas, cultural offerings, a hands-on idol making workshop for families, and a joyous Visarjan — culminating eleven days of devotion, culture, and community.

Craft Your Own Eco-Friendly Ganesha
Join fellow devotees for a hands-on family workshop molding your own Ganesh idol from eco-friendly, water-soluble clay — guided step by step by temple volunteers. No experience needed and all materials are provided. Take your handmade Ganesha home to worship, then immerse it lovingly at Visarjan.
