This Ashadi Ekadashi, the Radha Krishna Temple of NC brings the bliss of Pandharpur home. We welcome the sacred, consecrated idols of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj (Alandi) and Sant Tukaram Maharaj (Dehu) for a celebration rooted in the Warkari tradition — abhishek rituals, devotional Abhanga music, and a grand Dindi procession with Taal, Mridangam, and saffron Patakas.
Take part in the special Abhishek of Lord Vitthal and Rukhmini and welcome the sacred, consecrated idols with devotion and prayers.
An evening of devotional singing featuring traditional Abhangas composed by 12 revered Maharashtrian saints, presented by talented artists from the RTP area.
Experience the vibrant spirit of the Pandharpur pilgrimage as the sacred idols are carried in a traditional Palkhi (Dindi) procession accompanied by Taal, Mridangam, saffron flags, and joyous chanting of the Lord's holy names around the sacred temple lake Yamuna Maa, recreating the sacred atmosphere of the Chandrabhaga River in Pandharpur.
Devotees are encouraged to wear traditional white or festive attire.
Mahaprasad will be served to all devotees after the celebrations. Both Ekadashi (fasting) and regular meal options will be available.
